Last week I posted a poll on LinkedIn and to our subscribers; we had a good amount of participation and many comments. Great thanks to all who participated and commented.
Below are the results – as you can see, they vary widely, but clearly the logical approach was the strongest, followed by “offering a vision of a brighter future”. These choices resemble the Styles found in our Influence Styles Inventory.
For me, the important takeaway is that we’re all different, and when it comes to influencing others, the key is to recognize and respect that difference and be flexible in your Influence attempts.
